This year, Metuchen is celebrating 125 years of history, community, and progress. In honor of this milestone, the Friends of the Metuchen Library are launching an ambitious campaign to donate $125,000 to support a reimagining of the Metuchen Public Library. 

The library is the heart of Metuchen, a welcoming environment where children become readers, teens find their voice, adults gather, and curiosity flourishes. Today, we have a unique opportunity to build on that legacy by transforming the library into a more modern and adaptable space that meets the needs of a 21st-century community.

This campaign will fund the transformation of the children's room, expansion of teen space, addition of meeting space, and a redesign of the Makerspace. These enhancements will ensure the library remains an inspiring, flexible, and accessible resource for all. 

Let us ensure that our library, this cornerstone of the Metuchen community, continues to thrive for generations to come. As we honor our town's past, we hope you will join us in investing in our library's future.

Join us for a night of fun, celebration and community at our Jeopardy-Themed Annual Meeting. Tours & Mocktails 6:30 pm. Annual Meeting begins at 7 pm. We’ve got a whole new group of Metuchen celebrity contestants and we’ll be awarding our largest ever annual gift to the library. Come celebrate with us Thursday, November 20. at the Metuchen Library.
