Friends of the Metuchen Library was initially a club in the late 1970s, but incorporated in 1987 under the definition of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. This has allowed Friends of the Metuchen Library to be a powerhouse of fundraising nearly unsurpassed in Middlesex County. We’ve given the Library over $300,000 since our incorporation.
